Now, we've caught up with our grand prize winner, Rob, to find out how he's getting on with his Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3, generously supplied by Biktrix.
Robert, a Red Seal Master Machinist by trade, once operated a small Machine Shop in Canada but had to make the difficult decision to close up shop in 2017. The relentless challenges posed by his diagnoses of Ankylosing Spondylitis and Crohn's Disease in 2015 made daily tasks burdensome. Despite these setbacks, Rob's unwavering dedication and persistence shines through. Rob describes his beloved wife as his biggest passion, they cherish quality time together and savor each other's delightful company.
Robert: “I got out for my usual Saturday morning ride today to my local farmers' market. Round trip it's roughly 45km as I live outside of the city. It was a gorgeous sunny day with the temperature sitting at 22 Degrees Celsius. I can't think of a better way to get fresh baked bread and enjoy a morning ride than on my Bafang-powered Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3."

Team Bafang: “What interested you in e-bikes?”
Robert: “I became interested in electric bicycles for a few reasons. I believe most errands around town can be easily completed by bicycle. I feel much too much energy is wasted pushing around a 3,000-lbs car to pick up a loaf of bread and a jug of milk from my local grocery store.”
Team Bafang: “How does it feel to win the giveaway? Were you expecting to win?”
Robert: “It felt amazing to win the giveaway. I've never won anything as grand as my Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3. The win was a complete surprise.”

Robert: “Prior to being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, I was averaging over 300km a week on my bike – that's from commuting, running errands, and leisure riding with friends and family. The A.S. took my ability to do those things away from me."
Team Bafang: “How has the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3 made a difference in your life?”
Robert: “My Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3 has given me some independence back in my life. When your ability to do the things we once enjoyed are stripped away from us, it can be heart breaking and take an emotional toll on a person. What an amazing feeling to be able to enjoy the activities you never thought would be possible again. It's simply much more than a bike and I believe there's other riders out there than can understand where I'm coming from."
Team Bafang: “How does it feel to ride the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3?”
Robert: “That's a solid question, for me, it's not just about how it feels to ride my Bafang-equipped Juggernaut. It's more about how it feels to own it. A torque monster that climbs hills like a nimble Billy Goat
Robert: “I've done a fair bit of research on the juggernaut prior to receiving it. With the Bafang M620 motor installed, I expected the bike to be a torque monster that would climb hills like a nimble Billy Goat, all while maintaining a plush ride with the dual suspension. The bike has absolutely blown me away. It far exceeds my exceptions. The acceleration is unbelievable and the power the M620 provides is incredible. The motor spins up fast and smooth. I can travel at 41 km/h with throttle only while drawing only 200 watts of the available 1500 watts. This greatly increases my range on the bike.”
Team Bafang: “Can you tell us about your favorite features of the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3?”
Robert: “Hands down my favorite feature is the Bafang motor; the power output is simply mind-blowing. Secondary would be the dual suspension, what a smooth ride.”

Hitting the trails!
Robert: “I'm currently living in New Brunswick, Canada, Atlantic Canada's premier bike destination with over 20,000 km of ATV and mountain bike trails. My riding terrain consists of hard-packed gravel trails, rutted up nasty muddy ATV trails. It doesn't matter what I toss at my Juggernaut FS Pro 3, it consistently delivers a smooth, powerful ride.”
Team Bafang: “Do you have any future plans with the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 3 in your life? How do you plan to use it?”
Robert: “I most certainly have plans for this beast of a bike, I'm currently mapping out a route along the Fundy Trail Parkway here in New Brunswick, it's a gorgeous scenic route that overlooks the Bay of Fundy, home to some of the highest tides in the world and the most beautiful scenery a person can ask for. With the fat 3-inch tires installed, I should cruise easily along the beaches and cliffs of a world-class destination.”
